Firstly, you have to observe the mode of transportation to and from the office. It is convenient to own a vehicle if you are staying at the periphery away from the public transportation lane except it is accessible to taxi, grab and uber services. If you are prepared to own a vehicle then get ready some monies upfront as deposit for the S&P and the vehicle overhead expenses is relatively cheap too.

 

Secondly, the Shelter. When you are going for signing the letter of acceptance for the post offered and during medical check up appointment, the cheapest option available is to make a hotel room reservation. While reporting for duty, you have to rent a furnished room bear in mind, the safety aspect, convinient parking,  gated and affordable.

 

I am sharing my youngest son experienced. During his second year in JB, he starts searching for auctioned and subsales property which is much cheaper from buying newly develop properties. Alhamdulillah, he managed to secure one strata flat at the outskirt of JB from a kind,  helpful and thoughtfulness owner. He repaired the house before handing over.
